This webinar provides an introduction to Safety Integrity Level (SIL) certification. SIL Certification benefits manufacturers of safety-related controls by assuring purchasers that their product functions according to the required performance levels.
Both IEC 61508 and EN ISO 13849-1 standards are covered, which contain risk assessment processes to generate a Performance Level (PL) value, along with EN 62061 which uses Safety Integrity Levels (SIL).
