Operating in extremes
Day in, day out we take it for granted that the products we own and use will function as intended, when and where we want them to.
All too often we fail to take into consideration just how harsh the environmental conditions products are exposed to during normal use, whether that be an electric shaver being used on holiday in a humid climate or a valve being used on a Navy ship surrounded by a salt atmosphere.
There is a lot to consider when thinking about the environmental extremes a product will see during its lifetime, a look into the life of a product that 75% of the world’s population cannot live without will help make that all the more clear.
