TÜV SÜD Real Estate are a BIM level 2 certified business by the British Standards Institute for the capital delivery of BIM level 2 projects in compliance with PAS1192 and BS1192, across our 8 regional offices. We have 25 dedicated BIM technicians and 30 Engineers currently trained in BIM Level 2 and we have a continuous training programme in place. Only a very limited number of Consultancies in the UK have acquired this certification.

We utilise Building Information Modeling (BIM) as a powerful management and coordination tool in this process.
From the initial concept, our specialists use 3D virtual modeling to produce a conceptual design model to validate the sustainable design of the construction and mechanical, electrical and public health systems (MEP).
The use of BIM technology allows us to operate more efficiently and accurately producing fully coordinated detailed designs up to a level of detail, LOD 4.5, that are suitable for construction or prefabricated services solutions. We pride ourselves in providing construction level buildable designs with realistic tolerances and access considerations.
We utilise Autodesk Revit MEP as our primary authoring tool for modelled information and Navisworks Manage to provide clash detection to ensure that all of our models are collision free and suitable for purpose. We are fully conversant in all aspects of PAS1192 including the use of common data environments to effectively collaborate with all disciplines of the project design team, allowing the team to operate more efficiency and accurately.
All construction information is derived directly from the virtual construction model which may later be used by the lead designer to produce 4D time simulations and 5D quantity take off.
