The Bahrain World Trade Center, also known as Bahrain WTC and BWTC, is a 240-metre-high (787 ft), 50-floor, twin tower complex located in Manama, Bahrain. The towers were built in 2008 by the architectural firm Atkins. BWTC is the first skyscraper in the world to integrate wind turbines into its design. Atkins architects specified that Secalt fully powered Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) systems were to be installed in both towers.
Appointed to witness test and commission the works, following completion we were awarded the contract to manage the site maintenance work.
The primary challenges were to devise a safe method of work and specify a system of cleaning.
