I have already registered in the online recruitment system – how can I access and change my data?
If you have already registered in our career portal, you can login, access, change and withdraw your data and applications.
Are there technical restrictions on using the recruitment system?
At the moment, these are the web browsers that are supported by our system: Microsoft Internet Explorer (9-11), Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Other web browser versions than the one listed above might not be fully supported and the functionality might be limited.
While using our recruitment system, pop-up windows may appear. To ensure the correct use of the system’s functionalities, please temporarily disable the pop-up blocker on your web browser and activate java script. To ass attachments to your application, the following file formats are accepted by our system: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .rtf, .html and .txt. The maximum file size for an attachment is 10 MB.
The recruitment system displays some information in .pdf file format. Therefore, the latest version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader is recommended. You can download the latest version of the Acrobat Reader on www.adobe.com.
During the application process, you will receive automated emails triggered by the system to update you on your application status. These emails may end up in your spam folder. Therefore, please check your spam folder if required.

How long does it take to apply?
There are two ways of applying within our recruitment system. First, you may use our simple one-click application, which only takes a few seconds. There is also the option to use a more detailed application process, which can take up to ten minutes, but which allows you to provide more detailed information.
Can I apply using data from LinkedIn?
Yes, you can apply using the data from your LinkedIn profile by clicking on the LinkedIn button on our system during the application process. This will extract the data from your LinkedIn profile to our recruitment system. Following this, you will need to upload a CV and create an account in our recruitment system.
How do I know whether TÜV SÜD has received my application?
You will receive an automated confirmation email from the recruitment system upon receipt of your application.
Again, as the emails sent by the system may end up in your spam folder, please check your spam folder if you have not received a response.
Can I withdraw my application and delete my profile?
Yes, you can withdraw your application(s) at any time by logging into our recruitment system: https://www.tuv-sud.co.uk/uk-en/careers/your-opportunities and accessing ‘Track my Requisition’. If you choose to withdraw your application for a specific position, your candidate profile will still be available in our talent pool for TÜV SÜD recruiters globally. Recruiters may contact you to consider your application for a position if a new vacancy matches your profile.
If you do not wish to be considered for any further positions within the TÜV SÜD Group, you should delete your profile by submitting an email to: HR-GlobalAdmin-Recruiting@tuev-sued.de.
Please note that after 180 days of inactivity, you will receive a message asking if you wish your account to remain active and prompted to log into your account to indicate register this. If you do not login, your profile will be deleted automatically to comply with data protection laws.
What can I do if I forgot my username or password?
If you have forgotten your username or password, you can use the ‘Forgot password’ function available in our recruitment system: https://www.tuv-sud.co.uk/uk-en/careers/your-opportunities.

Can I be notified of new jobs being available?
Yes, you can receive job alerts without having to register, or log in to our recruitment system. To set a job alert, you need to define the job families, job locations or keywords for the jobs for which you want to receive information.
You can also receive job recommendations that fit the qualifications and keywords indicated in your LinkedIn or Facebook profile. To enable this, you should log in to LinkedIn or Facebook and approve several access and data exchange permissions between LinkedIn and our system provider Technomedia. Please note that for job alerts via LinkedIn or Facebook, you can only set these up one at a time, i.e. you must log out of LinkedIn before you can log in to use Facebook to create the job alerts.
Can I save my application and complete it at a later date?
Yes, you will have to complete the first page of the application form and click on the ‘Save’ button to create and save your application. Your login details will be the ones you defined on the first page. You may log in to your account subsequently to submit the draft application, which can be found under the section ‘Track my Applications’.
Please note that your application will become available to our HR functions once you click the ‘Save’ button. However, it will only be considered if you decide to submit it.
How can I share jobs with friends?
For each job advertisement, you can use the ‘Share’ button and forward the job to your friends via Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or LinkedIn.
You may also share it with them by copying the Job URL.
Who will have access to my data?
Your data will not be restricted to any country or entity within the TÜV SÜD Group; however, it will only be used for the purpose of employment opportunities and be accessible by members of HR or potential hiring managers of the TÜV SÜD Group.
Can I restrict the access to my data?
You cannot restrict access to your data as, by submitting your application, you are deemed to have given your consent to the company to collect, use or disclose your data for the sole purpose of reviewing your job application for current or future employment opportunities. Full details of how your data will be used can be found in our Privacy Statement available on the recruitment system.
What is the LinkedIn and Facebook Recommendation section for?
You can receive job recommendations from TÜV SÜD that fit the qualifications and keywords indicated in your LinkedIn or Facebook profile. To set these up, you should log in to LinkedIn or Facebook and provide our system with several access rights, including your profile. Please note that for job alerts via LinkedIn or Facebook, you can only set these up one at a time and must log out of one before setting up recommendations in the other.
