The new £55M ScottishPower headquarters will be located on the corner of St Vincent Street and Newton Street, currently a derelict site, which used to home Strathclyde Regional Council HQ.
The redevelopment of this land will see home to a 220,000ft, 14 storey office building which will house 1900 staff.
Utilising the latest integrated environmental solutions package the building has been modelled and currently achieves a Scottish EPC Asset rating of ‘B’ and with an intended BREEAM target of Excellent the model achieves 11 credits in the ENE 2 energy section, making it extremely carbon efficient.
The works have commenced on site and the project is due to be completed by 2015.
Our Cat A team have now been novated to Laing O’Rourke and continue to progress the construction phase.
We have also now been appointed to design the Cat B fit out on behalf of ScottishPower/Iberdrola.
