The phased redevelopment of Stevenson College’s Sighthill campus, includes: new entrances to the north and south of the campus, new student learning and social spaces, redevelopment of the library, expansion of the catering facilities, a new central student support facility and a new central reception area.
The works incorporate provision of all mechanical, electrical and public health services, including low energy and feature lighting, LTHW heating and radiant panels, natural and mechanical ventilation, comfort cooling, water services and drainage.
Dynamic thermal simulation has been used to model the building to evaluate overheating risk, review indoor air quality and demonstrate compliance with current Building Regulations.
