BIS has accredited TÜV SÜD to perform tests for the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS).
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is the national standards body concerning standardisation, certification and quality for both products and systems in India. The testing for BIS CRS scheme is a mandatory registration scheme for prescribed electronics and IT products. As a BIS accredited product testing laboratory, TÜV SÜD are more than able to help customers to successfully demonstrate compliance to the requirements of the Compulsory Registration Scheme.
TÜV SÜD are currently authorised to test the first phase of products such as microwave ovens, electronic clocks, laptops, printers, automatic data processing machines. With global capability and experience TÜV SÜD can offer support gaining compliance with Indian regulatory requirements and obtaining the required approvals.
