The enthusiastic response to a recent webinar on the new Advanced Multiphase Facility has highlighted the high level of interest that the facility is generating amongst researchers, oils companies and meter manufacturers. The demand for the webinar was such that it will be re-run on 17 October.
The webinar was held at the end of July and presented by world-renowned multiphase flow expert, Dr. Bruno Pinguet. Drawn from many different countries, participants included representatives from universities, research agencies, oil companies and multiphase meter manufacturers.
“This was one of the most popular webinars we have ever conducted,” advised Bruno. “It was clear from the questions that were asked that participants were extremely interested in the new facility and excited about what it means to their organisations and businesses.”
“I highlighted the potential of the facility to push the boundaries of research and explained how it will open up new horizons for technology development,” Bruno says. “I explained that the new facility will provide a new, best-in-class, high-pressure multiphase flow testing, with a test range beyond anything currently available anywhere else in the world. I also described the innovative new equipment that will be used to carry out cutting-edge flow regime analysis.”
Questions at the webinar covered a wide variety of technical considerations. They included queries about reference meter choices, probe capabilities and the ways in which the new facility can simulate various flow regimes.
The attendee feedback was very positive and a number of participants, including oil company representatives, sent positive e-mails to Bruno to say how impressed they were by the facility’s capability and design.
Register for the re-run of the webinar on 17 October.
