Monday 11th November 2019, 11.30 – 16.00
Dome Seminar Room, New Register House, West Register Street, Edinburgh, EH1 3YT
Stakeholders from industry, public sector, trade bodies and academia are invited to join the teams from TÜV SÜD National Engineering Laboratory and the Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (SHFCA) at this workshop. Aimed at identifying current and future requirements, this free to attend event will also discuss the need for standardisation in one or more aspects of our growing industry. It will include roundtable workshops to identify the key challenges and potential solution mechanisms.
- Do you already work in the hydrogen sector, or are you considering getting involved with hydrogen activities?
- Do you have thoughts on the need for standardisation in one or more aspects of this growing industry?
- Would you like to build new contacts or influence the developments in this field?
This workshop will bring together existing and prospective stakeholders in the hydrogen sector. It will help us identify the current barriers and gaps, both in regulation and standardisation, that need to be addressed to accelerate adoption of hydrogen technologies, and create a fair and equitable market.
This event will include presentations in the morning session, followed by networking lunch. To facilitate networking during lunch (and throughout this event) there is an option for all delegates to be included on the workshop delegate list, which will be circulated to all attendees before the event.
The afternoon session will include a series of three short workshop sessions to discuss and define current barriers and challenges, identify the most relevant barriers and challenges, and propose the best approaches and mechanisms to tackle these barriers and challenges
Registration is now open and places are limited, so please register your interest as soon as possible to ensure your place.
