The webinar programme for the second half of 2018 has been finalised. Building on the success of previous events, it will have a strong focus on key industry concerns such as standards development, clean fuels, testing at operating conditions and digital modelling.
“We are continuing to focus on issues that are of importance to industry,” says Marketing Communications Executive, Marietta Hughes. “At the same time, we are highlighting the significant developments that are taking place here in East Kilbride.”
Upcoming webinars will offer expert training in density measurement, an overview of the new Advanced Multiphase Facility and meter calibration at elevated temperature and pressure.
“Later in the year and through to 2019, we will also be looking at our latest research on clean fuels and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis,” says Marietta. “To find out more, people should visit our new website, where they can register on line.”
At the end of July, world-renowned multiphase flow authority Dr Bruno Pinguet, will give an overview of the new Advanced Multiphase Facility. This multi-million pound high-pressure and high-flow-rate facility offers capabilities not available anywhere else in the world. The webinar will be an opportunity to find out more about the characteristics of the new facility and learn about how it will help industry in the drive to improve production.
The webinar programme is delivered live by consultants and researchers. It provides the opportunity for participants to remotely access information and training on a wide range of key flow metrology issues, all of which have a strong, practical industry focus. Opportunities exist to ask questions with the presenters.
The new schedule follows on from the success of the last webinar programme. Over the past year, over 1,000 participants, drawn from over 50 countries, have taken part in the events.
